Meet The Big Easy And it really is truly easy. The simple truth is the easiest way to learn brioche is in the round, and with this stitch it doesn’t take a crazy amount of effort to get a stunning product. Pick the right yarns and let them do all the work! Grab two skeins of bulky weight yarn and you can master the brioche stitch in no time. By the end, you’ll have an awesome, squishy cowl and tools you’ll need to tackle more advanced projects!
Time: One 2-hour class
Level 4 (Pygora): Brioche can be tricky to learn. So for this class we recommend that you are very comfortable knitting, purling, casting on/binding off, and have made a few projects by reading patterns. It would also help a lot if you have knit in the round.
Skills you need:
- Cable Cast On
- How to join/knit in the round
- Knitting two stitches together (k2tog)
- Purling two stitches together (p2tog)
- Yarn Over (YO)
Skills you’ll learn:
- Brioche Knit (brk)
- Brioche Purl (brp)
- How to knit brioche in the round
Materials:
- Two contrasting skeins of bulky weight yarn (the higher the contrast, the easier to knit for a beginner)
- 200-400 yds bulky weight (200 will get you a closer against the neck cowl, 400 will get you a longer cowl that can be doubled up for extra warmth) We suggest KnitWise Fibers Billowy Bulky with Urth Yarns Koozoo. Even the two yarns in the Polka Dot Berry Cozy Slipper Kit would be great!

Preparation:
- Cast on desired length (78 or 165), join for knitting in the round, and purl one round with your Main Color (the color you cast on in)
Carolina Kidwell-Bozeman loves playing with fiber in all forms. There is nothing more satisfying to her than spreading the therapeutic, creative and joyous qualities inherent in knitting. Carolina has been knitting since the age of 9, and picked it back up in college where she benefited from the meditative process of knitting instead of focusing only finishing the project. In her own knitting she embraces playing with color and texture when choosing a pattern. Carolina is also our Fulfillment and Events Maven here at Fuzzy Goat.
Return Policy
To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. Curated boxes are not eligible for returns
To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.
If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy
If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday
Shipping Policy
We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. It may take us longer during big sale promotions. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order.
If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.
