Seven Sisters Arts PopUp

The natural beauty of the coast of Maine provides inspiration as Karen makes small batches of hand dyed yarn. She uses non toxic acid dyes and natural dyes which are measured very precisely to result in consistent colors from batch to batch. Water is reused several times between dye batches to conserve water. Karen has a degree in Plant & Soil Science and one in Nursing, both teaching her about science and methodology. Karen takes great pleasure in sharing her love of fiber and color with other makers.
