Mariechen by Isabel Kraemer, is worked seamlessly from the top down. Maybe your first sweater?! Melissa is making hers more cropped. The cardigan is worked back and forth with raglan increases to shape the yoke. Fronts are worked in Double Seed Stitch with a cute textured cable/lace panel down the center. Once yoke shaping is complete, sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body first top down to the hem. Buttonhole band, button band and neck finishing are worked next. Sleeve sts are then picked up again to work the sleeves top down in the round to the cuffs. As this cardigan is worked from the top down it is advisable to try it on from time to time to check the length and overall fit. The length and width of the yoke are easily adjustable by adding/ reducing increases or underarm sts.

Time: Five 2-hour classes, some class sessions may be only an hour, all sessions will start at 2:00 (we don't anticipate being able to arrange make-up classes but we can share our notes)

Level 3 Alpine: starting to climb, able to knit and purl, knit in the round and increase and decrease and finished a few projects

Skills you need:

knit and purl stitch
knitting in the round, have finished a circular project
have successfully used a knitting pattern - OK if this is your first sweater!

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. Curated boxes are not eligible for returns

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy

If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday

Shipping Policy

We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. It may take us longer during big sale promotions. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order.

If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.
