The Shop
We help people turn curiosity into creativity.
That's the simplest way we know to describe what happens at Fuzzy Goat — in our historic downtown Thomasville shop, and online with Fuzzy Fans in every state.
We welcome you to make yourself at home in our cozy lodge, browse our carefully chosen yarns and indie goods, and find your next project. Whether you're an experienced knitter or someone who just wandered in looking for a gift and left with a new hobby — we'll meet you where you are.
Fuzzy Goat is a gathering place. For makers and curious beginners. For people who want beautiful things made by people they can believe in. For conversations across generations and life experiences — the kind that used to happen at bowling leagues and are harder to find now. We think knitting creates that space, and we've built this shop around it.
We're part of the Downtown Thomasville Creative District, and we host classes and events year-round — often alongside our favorite neighboring businesses. There's always something happening here. The question is what's next for you.
In 2021, Fuzzy Goat was one of four small businesses chosen by Matthew McConaughey for his Grits and Greenlights series — a recognition that reflects the community we've been building since day one. Our curated subscription boxes ship to makers nationwide, bringing a little Fuzzy Goat whimsy to every corner of the country.
We are committed to using our resources and platform for good — to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and anti-racism. We welcome all identities including, but not limited to, diversity among race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, LGBTQIA+, and mental and physical abilities.
We don't just sell yarn. We're a quirky, vibrant movement — and you're part of it.
