Please wait for a reply before shipping your items to Fuzzy Goat and we recommend insuring your items when you do ship.
There is an additional shipping charge of at least $12 to return your item to you, and will include insurance.
Here are the Fuzzy Finishings that can be done for you:
- Sewing on buttons
- Button bands
- Collars/hoods
- 3 needle bind-offs
- Assembling blanket squares
- Knit and crochet borders
- Embroidery
- Seaming for anything - blankets, sweaters etc.
- Kitchener Stitch
- Dontwannas*
- Aintgonnas*
- Weaving in ends
*Dontwannas/ Aintgonnas are what Shari calls nearly finished projects that you are just “done with” or aspects of the knitted project that aren’t knitting (seaming, buttons, etc). Maybe you just want to knit and are happy to pay someone else to do the Not-knitting part of the project.
If you don’t have the yarn needed, Shari can use the copious scraps in her stash for a minimal charge or perhaps Fuzzy Goat can find matching yarn for you.
Turn around time from when Fuzzy Goat receives the item is three weeks. During the holiday time, we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery for items received at the shop past December 5th (not including potential postal delays)
Shari Hill came to Florida State University for art school way-back-when and never left. She has shaped her family’s multi-generational skill of making something from nothing into a multi-crafted life of yarn, paint and a deep love for color play and the linen stitch. Crochet is her first language, learned so young she doesn’t remember. Her advice as an experienced self-taught knitter, however, is “save yourself the headache and take a class at Fuzzy Goat!” So bring in your project, no matter how rowdy, and let her wrangle it into its finished form!
Every computer monitor is calibrated differently. Slight variations in tone and saturation will vary from monitor to monitor. The actual color of your item may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.
Return Policy
To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item.
To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.
If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy
If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday
Shipping Policy
We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order.
If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.
