• Terrapin Fiberworks Harbor DK: Literary, 70% GOTS-certified organic Tanguis cotton, 30% unbleached linen, 246 yards, DK weight
  Lyla started Terrapin Fiberworks in 2021 — a pandemic thing, she'll tell you — dyeing plant-based yarns from her studio in Annapolis and loving every messy second of it. Her mission is rich, earthy, wearable color on fibers that take care of the earth as much as possible. Harbor is her summer base: organic Tanguis cotton from Peru grown without synthetic pesticides or GMO seeds, blended with unbleached linen that needs a fraction of the water cotton does and can grow on land too poor for much else. It feels cool and almost weightless in your hands. Literary is the colorway we chose for this Plot Twist box. Nora Ephron believed in the power of a good book, a good meal, and paying attention to what you love. This color is named for all of that.
• KnitWise Fibers Mega MCN: In Omnia Paratus, 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon, 600 yards, fingering weight
  In Omnia Paratus means "in all things prepared" — which is exactly what Rory Gilmore is, always, whether she's heading into a Chilton exam or a life-changing decision she's not actually ready for. We were inspired by a bright blue shawl Rory wears in the "I Jump, You Jump, Jack" episode in season five. This color is that shawl. Cast on now and you'll be wearing it by the time the air turns.
• KnitWise Fibers Tencel DK: Sookie's Strawberry Shortcake, 100% TENCEL™, 246 yards, DK weight
  This indie dyer is in Fuzzy Goat's own backyard — and we keep coming back to Alycia because her work is simply that good. She hand-dyes in her Tallahassee garage, balancing her award-winning career as Creative Director for FSU's Student Affairs with a full-time love of color and fiber. Dyed especially for our Spring Gilmore Purls box, she worked with TENCEL™ — a fiber made from sustainably managed forests, fully compostable, and certified with the EU Ecolabel for its low environmental impact throughout its entire lifecycle. Beautiful yarn that's also good for the planet.
• Ryan Yarns Plump DK: Hollander, 100% superwash merino, 250 yards, DK weight
  For our Y'All Means All: Heated Rivalry box, Ryan created the "Hollander" colorway specifically for us. He named it because he's a fan of the books and the show — and if you know, you know. Ilya always calls Shane "Hollander." And it is, as Ryan says, very iconic.
• Copper Corgi Shoreline Silk: Much Ado About Mulberry, 100% silk noil, 450 yards, fingering weight (can knit up to DK)
  Shoreline Silk is nearly weightless — cool enough for a hot day, just warm enough when the air conditioning hits. You can use it for fingering to DK weight patterns. Much Ado About Mulberry was dyed for our Plot Twist box. The name felt right for a rom-com.
• Emmas Yarns Pressed Flowers Kerchief Kit: Simply Spectacular DK, 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon — 1 full skein (255 yards) + 2 mini skeins (50 yards each)
  We chose this yarn for the way the colors come together. For the first Plot Twist box, we landed on soft teal and fresh spring green — calm and steady, with just enough brightness to feel like spring. We paired it with Amy Christoffers' Pressed Flowers Kerchief pattern: simple stitches that build into something quietly satisfying, the kind of project you can settle into while a story plays nearby.

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. Curated boxes are not eligible for returns  

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy

If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday

Shipping Policy

We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. It may take us longer during big sale promotions. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order. 

If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.

$100 and up = $13.90

We don’t have free shipping thresholds, though there are certain times of the year will do a promo for free shipping. As a small indie shop, we price shipping as close to actual cost as possible so we can continue supporting indie dyers, paying designers fairly, and offering personal help in-store and online. It’s one of the ways we keep Fuzzy Goat sustainable and able to serve our community long-term. We truly appreciate your support.

We make every effort to reuse boxes, bubble wrap, and other stuffing for shipping whenever possible. We do focus on our foot-print and where our lovely vendors are located. We are constantly on the hunt for more eco-friendly, cost-efficient options that also keep your precious yarn safe and dry.
