Our Faux Taxidermy is back!!! All the way from the United Kingdom! This is a fun project for anybody who knows the basics of knitting. The animals can be knitted on straight needles and sewn together using mattress stitch, so there's no working in the round. The design gives the appearance of intarsia color work, but there's no color changing in the middle of the row making it a really fun project to knit.
Choose from a whimsical fox, a traditional deer (put a red nose on her for the Holidays), a highland cow, or a mythical unicorn! We're sure you know someone who will be delighted!
The Highland Cow could be mistaken for a University of Texas mascot, we could even ask our friend Matthew McConaughey if it meets with approval.
