AKA Granny Squares Galore is a class designed to help you delve into the world of crocheting granny squares. From crocheting a circle into a square to folk and African flowers to bunting “triangles”, this series of fun patterns will build your crocheting skills. Build your confidence and skills by learning new stitches and discovering new patterns that utilize different squares You are welcome to join the series in any month. Throughout the series, the crocheter will be rewarded with an abundance of crocheting know-how to assemble projects such as blankets, bandanas, tote bags, cardigans and many more!
March Square is: the Classic Square, pg. 38, opportunities for 6 or less colors
Time: One 1-hour class; enroll in these individually at $32.00 each.
Level 2 Angora: ready to add to your staple skills, have been practicing single crochet and the chain stitch and ready to read a pattern
Skills you need:
- Slip Knot
- Single Crochet
- A sense of adventure!
Skills you will learn:
- A variety of new stitches: half-double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet!
- How to increase and decrease
- How to crochet in the round
- Open End Stitch Markers
- Any weight yarn, however, the smaller the yarn, the smaller the granny square. We recommend worsted weight Sandnes Garn Alpakka Ull for its variety of colors, smaller skeins and price point
