Hand-knit by women artisans in the Peruvian highlands through Naguska, a family-run fair trade organization. Each purchase supports access to health care and education for the artisans and their families, while keeping traditional knitting techniques alive. Made from locally sourced cotton and alpaca wool.

Bessie Coleman: a daring pioneer who shattered barriers in the sky. As the first African American and Native American woman to earn a pilot’s license, Bessie refused to be grounded by the limits society placed on her. She traveled to France to earn her wings when no flight schools in the U.S. would admit her, returning home as a fearless stunt pilot who inspired generations to follow their dreams. 

Frida Kahlo: Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her vibrant self-portraits and works inspired by Mexican culture. Her art reflected her physical and emotional pain, her turbulent relationship with fellow artist Diego Rivera, and her identity, and gender. Her unique style was influenced by Mexican indigenous cultures, Spanish religious painting, and European Realism, Symbolism, and Surrealism. 

Jane Goodall: said: "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make”. Jane advocated for animal rights, focused on conservation & sustainability, and was a UN Messenger of Peace. She has used her career as a primatologist and anthropologist, with 60 years studying wild chimpanzees, to advocate for animals and the environment. 

Maya Angelou: was a world-renowned poet, memoirist, singer, dancer, actress, and civil rights activist. Her 1969 autobiography, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, made history as the first nonfiction bestseller by a Black woman. Her writing explored themes of racial, and economic oppression, and her words inspired generations of women and others to overcome setbacks and make the world better. 

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: (one of my favorites for how she continued to be relevant until her last breath) With her white collar that wore when she was dissenting on the Supreme Court. RBG was a champion of equal rights

 

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. Curated boxes are not eligible for returns  

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy

If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday

Shipping Policy

We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. It may take us longer during big sale promotions. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order. 

If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.

We don’t have free shipping thresholds, though there are certain times of the year will do a promo for free shipping. As a small indie shop, we price shipping as close to actual cost as possible so we can continue supporting indie dyers, paying designers fairly, and offering personal help in-store and online. It’s one of the ways we keep Fuzzy Goat sustainable and able to serve our community long-term. We truly appreciate your support.

We make every effort to reuse boxes, bubble wrap, and other stuffing for shipping whenever possible. We do focus on our foot-print and where our lovely vendors are located. We are constantly on the hunt for more eco-friendly, cost-efficient options that also keep your precious yarn safe and dry.
