Heated Rivarly Theme

Every great love story has a rivalry at its heart.

The push before the pull. The argument that cracks something open. The moment two forces stop fighting and realize they were always moving toward the same place.

Y'All Means All: Heated Rivalry is our fifth limited-edition box celebrating LGBTQ+ makers β€” and this one leans into the beautiful friction of it all. The color story, the design, the makers behind every piece: all of it is shaped by that electric space where opposition becomes something else entirely.

Inside, you'll find our curated selection of yarn hand-dyed by Ryan of Ryan Yarn, an LGBTQ+ maker whose colorwork brings this theme to life in the most beautiful way. The pattern and extras were chosen specifically for Heated Rivalry β€” you won't find this combination anywhere else.

All makers in this box identify as LGBTQ+.

A portion of every sale goes to The Trevor Project, supporting crisis intervention and mental health resources for young LGBTQ+ lives.

We're a small Southern yarn shop in Thomasville, Georgia, and we show up for this community every edition. If you want to know what that means to us personally, Cadence wrote about it here.

Limited to 73 boxes β€” a nod to 1973, the year the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, officially declaring that being gay is not a mental illness. Love won that rivalry too.

Coming this Fall: Y'All Means All: A Hint of Color
(Opening for orders in October)

There's a line in The Birdcage that stops us every time.

"One does want a hint of color."

It's throwaway comedy on the surface. Underneath, it's a whole philosophy β€” that joy insists on itself, that color belongs everywhere, that a life fully lived doesn't apologize for taking up space.

We've loved this film for thirty years. A gay couple in South Beach, raising a son, running a club, building a life together that is loud and warm and completely their own. It came out in 1996 β€” the same year Congress voted 85–14 to pass the Defense of Marriage Act, telling couples like Armand and Albert that their love didn't count under federal law.

The film kept playing anyway. People kept laughing and crying and recognizing themselves on screen anyway.

This box is for all of it.

Y'All Means All: A Hint of Color is our sixth limited-edition box celebrating LGBTQ+ makers. Inside you'll find hand-dyed yarn from an LGBTQ+ maker, a pattern chosen for this theme, and extras that fit the story. All makers in this box identify as LGBTQ+.

A portion of every sale goes to The Trevor Project, supporting crisis intervention and mental health resources for young LGBTQ+ lives.

We're a small Southern yarn shop in Thomasville, Georgia. Here's what that means to us.

Limited to 85 boxes β€” one for each Senate vote that tried to say love didn't count in 1996. It didn't work then. It won't work now.

Ships November 2026.

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item.Β Curated boxes are not eligible for returns Β

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Thanks for your understanding.

Missed CouponΒ Policy

IfΒ you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct theΒ merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. We make every effort to reuse boxes, bubble wrap, and other stuffing for shipping whenever possible. We do focus on our foot-print and where our lovely vendors are located. We are constantly on the hunt for more eco-friendly, cost-efficient options that also keep your precious yarn safe and dry.Β
